Be transparent with what information you collect in your online store with the Mystore Consent module. With the tool, you meet the requirement of Google for opt-out opportunities for tracking, so you can continue with advertising in the search engine.
How does the consent module work?
The app presents a pop-up in the online store with two possibilities; Accept or read more for choosing which cookies they want to be active.
When the customer selects read more and customize, they are presented with 3 choices, (1) necessary cookies, (2) analytics cookies and (3) marketing cookies.
Each option adjusts which tags are active from the Control Panel
- Necessary cookies are active for the customer to be able to shop in the online store and navigate the website.
- Analytics cookies cover the Google Analytics tool and Tag Manager
- Marketing cookies cover Google Tag Manager, Google Ads and Social Media Pixels.
Select! If the customer makes no choice, you do not have consent to active tracking, and tracking codes or pixels are not available until the customer makes a choice.
How is the module installed?
The consent module is easily installed directly in your control panel.
Open the Main Menu > Apps > Settings to enable
