Email content

Here you can edit the content of the email. The content is given as HTML (structure) and CSS (appearance), it is therefore an advantage to have some knowledge of how it works before you start editing content. If you decide to edit, you can do this by searching for words and phrases using your browser's search function, e.g. on macOS, use the keyboard shortcuts CMD + F to open the search bar, or scroll down to the desired location.

It is perfectly safe to change the actual text of the templates. Text is embedded in elements starting with <> and ending with </>. For example, if you want to replace the text in the following title, you can change

<h1>This is a title</h1> to <h1> A new and perhaps better title</h1>

It is important that the elements are correctly closed, i.e. <h1> is all the way first and </h1> is at the very last and the text becomes in between.

This was just an example and h1 is not the only element found in HTML. Among other things, <table> and <div> are commonly used elements.

Please note that the templates in your online store will vary.

Text in checkout

Klarna
This text will not be visible in Klarna Checkout, only in the quick checkout / company checkout

To add text at the top of the page during checkout:

  1. Go to Configuration > Text on pages > Text in checkout
  2. Type the text you want in your word processor and click refresh to save the text. It is recommended to keep the text short as there is limited space for the text at the top of the page. If you have an online store that uses more than one language, you will get a word processor for each language
